ABOUT
Antonio Oliveira is a British-Brazilian Baritone, Conductor, and Music Educator from London. He was a founding member of the youth choir Inner Voices in 2011, led by Ralph Allwood and Ed Watkins, and went on to study music at the University of Hull.
He has since performed with the London Youth Choirs, BBC Proms Youth Choir, the University of Hull Chapel Choir, Thomas Tallis Society Choir, Vocal Shack, Vox Urbane, and at the London Handel Festival. In 2023, Antonio completed a year-long Fellowship Programme with the National Youth Choir, which developed his conducting and choral leadership skills, and since then has been the Bass Scholar with Hertford Choral Society.
Antonio is passionate about providing opportunities for quality music making and singing to young people, especially those from diverse backgrounds and areas where they may not have these opportunities. He does this through his work with the London Youth Choirs, Ark Academies, Southwark Music Service and Wandsworth Music. As well as this, he continues to lead singing workshops across many schools with Vox Urbane, The Bach Choir, and the National Youth Choirs.
